Now that the tragedy of the flooding is over, the people of the Philippines and Manila in particular will be rebuilding their lives. Disaster relief has been provided and now is the time to get on with life. Homes have to be rebuilt, repaired and cleaned out. Basic furniture, cooking utensils and bedding have to be replaced if they were lost in the flood.
It is now that our financial assistance will help the most in helping the people return to a reasonably normal way of life.
This is why I am asking you to help at this time; to help people rebuild.
I have contacted Pastor and Mrs. Mendosa to give out the aid to their congregation and community as they see fit. They are trustworthy and honorable people.
To give you a little background. My wife and I have made 2 missionary trips to the Philippines and I have made 5 total. During our trips there we became friends with Pastor Mendosa, his wife and congregation. We have personally helped them out in the past. Now we are asking for your help so we and they can make a greater impact upon their community.
How It Works
The minimum donation is $5.00. If you wish to give more please use the "Extra Donation" box. If you check $25.00 then your total donation will be $30.00.
The "Shipping Credit" is there to offset the standard shipping charge that I charge. The donation is not tax deductible because we are not a 501 3C organization.
When you reach the payment page please use PayPal to process your payment. Using Paypal reduces the expenses allowing more money to be sent into the Philippines. If you do not have a Paypal account please use your Mastercard or Visa. Please choose a shipping method.
What happens next? Please print out you order for your reference. You will also be sent an email to the address provided.
When we have collected the financial assistance, you will get an email telling you the total collected and the expenses to the date of the email.
It is planned to use Western Union to transfer the funds to the Philippines. You will be getting an email as to how the funds were used in the Philippines.
